About Us

Names: Foster Mom & Foster Dad
Age: Late 20's
Biological Children: None. Does a puppy count?
Foster Children: "M" - 4 yr. old girl  (first placement)
Why did we decide to be foster parents:  Separately, we both had a passion to help foster kids. It was amazing when we realized that God aligned our hearts and we both wanted to pursue being foster parents.  I like to think we are a couple that likes to take risks and since we had an extra bedroom we took the challenge. We thought being foster parents would be a great way to invest in our community and be an example of Christ's love to others.
"Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you." James 1:27

I am a single parent of a 4 y.o. currently residing in a disaster area overseas. My child's bio father is a US citizen who's long dropped off the map, hence leaving his offspring to rot in radiation. God bless you folks and the foster care system in the US, but I cannot help but wish there were a global system that would come to aid mothers in a unprecedented calamity so at least our children could get a much needed respite.
